This is gonna be a long one.

Whoo!!! after two days' worth of sitting in an airplane chair, busying myself with nothing but watching movies and playing in-flight games (i couldn't draw because my brother was sitting beside me), i am finally back home! Actually, it's already 4:36 in the morning (couldn't sleep -- when i arrived here at home i immediately went to sleep without the bedcovers on -- 7:00 pm, i think.), and since i can't sleep, I'll decide to rant on my trip to the United States! (yeah, probably for most people out there going to the states isn't a big deal anymore, but it sort of is to me, since i got to eat stuff.)

Oh, and since i really can't sleep, i'll rant about it in detail. with a few mentions of teh love of my life around there somewhere.

Departure:
Nothing much happened -- m y dad lost his stylus for his PDA in NAIA, therefore asking me to search the floor for that stick used to poke the screen. Singapore Airlines is a really cool air...line. They have 60 movies and most of them are really recent -- like Ocean's Twelv e and the Aviator and whatnot. in PAL you get stuck with Judy Ann Santos...o.O

Singapore:
Singapore, I must say, is a really cool place. I mean, they have KINOKUNIYA!!! I went crazy when we entered Takashimaya -- when i saw the sign for Kinokuniya I immediately dragged my dad to it. But my mom wanted to go to the LV store and we were stuck there...sort of. After that my dad and brother were stuck with me in Kinokuniya. Food is really nice -- my dad's business-partner-things treated us to dinner and lunch. uwa...in that Singapore...Raffles Club, i think. basta astig.

Kinokuniya:
Man, this place is heaven, dude. I mean it. well..not really, but it's a really nice place. REALLY nice. see, i even dedicated a whole section to it (later I'll dedicate another section to another b ookstore)! It was full of so many stuff -- it's like they have all the books in the world there, in five languages, I think. And judging by the name, you should be sure that they have Japanese titles -- and they do!!! (*squeeee*) They had lots and lots of manga, and i found Shinshi Doumei Cross 1, and Ribon (april), and What's In with LARUKU AS THE COVER!!!!!! WHAA! Hyde and Tetsu were so cute, Ken with teh appeal, and...Yukki. Yukki's not bad -- just can't find words to describe him. :D On the way back here we're supposed to spend a night again there, but didn't. If we did, I would be able to get Ribon (may) and that Area 37 with Gackt with teh long hair as the cover!! ><>

Departure (singapore to hong kong):
Nothing much really happened -- except i spilled coke on myself in the airplane and on the singaporean guy beside me (how humiliating ><) i was able to draw *did a Mayumi sketch, but failed* because it was my dad who was beside me, and that singaporean guy. and I read ribon along the way. ><>

Departure (hong kong to san francisco): (see how many stops we made?! but SIA is still cool.)
Here nothing happened. watched a few movies (spongebob squarepants and another one...finding neverland? forgot.) and ate. and slept. SIA kept serving us food (probably planning to get us fat)

San Francisco/San Mateo:
Oh man, this is where the trouble starts. My Dad was forced to drive on the Freeway on our first night. ><...we kept going in circles...>

We stayed in San Mateo, btw. It's nice there, quiet...and stuff.

It's a real cool place -- my tito Noel showed us around downtown San Francisco the second day (april 16). I was with my Tito Ed and Pam, so it was good -- we went to Pier 39 and that winding road thing, went to the Golden Gate Bridge -- you know, tourist stuff. It was a whole lot better than those racks of clothes and malls were my Mom brings us to in the States. o.o She always drags us to shopping malls and we end up walking all around the malls for the whole day. I am not kidding. I wanted to go to that Japan Town thing, but our sked was too hectic to do so.

SO, we did nothing much there except shopping.

Los Angeles (actually, Anaheim, but whatever):
Here, another chapter starts -- we drove all the way from San Mateo to Anaheim, which took us 7 hours or more. So in that long period of a time we were stuck in the car we rented doing nothing but stare at the vast lands that the US possess. Damn, they have too much land. I mean, you can see nothing but land. O.O and we passed by lots of orange farms (is that right?) so whenever we passed by i was sort of dizzy since you sort of see a pattern in an orange farm when you pass by. Don't get it? ...it's okay...:D

We stopped in Anaheim and stayed in a hotel right across Disneyland. :D my cousin Pam was with us, so it wasn't boring for me at all.

DISNEYLAND:
We went to Disneyland first -- the Disneyland park, not the Disneyland California Adventure. It was nice -- filled with the classic disney stuff: Disney princesses, Mickey Mouse and his troupe of friends and whatever -- but Jack was there! Jack Skellington! But there was more of him in California Adventure.

Anyway, we mostly rode on the roller coaster type of things. the Matterhorn Bobsleds ride was nice, the Haunted Mansion thing, and the Indiana Jones thing...When we were in the Haunted Mansion ride I accidentally sat on my water bottle, so it squirted water all over the seats -- we went out of the ride with our jackets wet (it was still damn cold in that place, especially in San Mateo). We also rode on that new Buzz Lightyear thing -- where you ride and shoot targets with laser guns.

and that's Disneyland for me. It was fun. I actually wanted to see Princess Aurora (she's my fave. :D)...we got to see Chip and Dale instead..

DISNEYLAND CALIFORNIA ADVENTURE:
Now this -- this is fun. the first ride we went to was the Hollywood Tower Hotel, the ride for the Twilight Zone. It was just like the one in Ocean Park, but there were screen which show the horror story behind it. The queue was damn long and winding -- the details were really very cool. You'd really think it's a hotel. what you do there is you sit in a service elevator type of thing, and it goes up and down in a horrific speed, so fast that you can feel your ass is away from the seat. O.O wonders of gravity. and it stops suddenly, then goes to make your ass elevate from the seat again.

There's another ride worth telling -- the California 'Screamin. Damn that roller coaster -- it's really cool, and good to ride, but damn it was fast. I mean it. you can feel yourself being pushed hard against your seat as it accelerated. As usual, my stomach was doing its weird things whenever i was in a roller coaster (or in a swing high up in the air), and luckily i don't vomit after roller coasters. :D It was real damn fast, and when we went to the loop i felt my head being pushed down to the safety thing. wha. My brother wanted to go to Six Flags, and i started to think how damn fast the roller coasters there are. O.O

There's also the ferris wheel -- forgot what it's called, but it's cool. They have swinging gondolas. My dad didn't want to use the swinging gondola since the line for it was too long. There's also a large Orange ride that's like the Flying Fiesta in EK...and i bought my JACK SKELLINGTON MUG there!!! *love love* it's soooooo cool -- actually, i wanted the sweater with Jack's face on it, but it was too expensive, so i settled with a Mug, and the largest whirly lollipop. O.o I loved those, since when my mom first went to disneyland, she brought back home those large whirly pops. Love love.

UNIVERSAL STUDIOS:
This is a real cool place. They have that giant electric guitar in the CityWalk, and twenty something theatres showing the latest movies, and that Popcornopolis thing. I finally saw that Hot Topic store there, the one everybody's been talking about.

We went to the park and went through the Van Hellsing ride first. It wasn't that scary -- it was just so dark inside that you can't see anything. This time my cousin Pam and Tito Ed were with us. Pam kept screaming inside...o.o Anyway, I was just startled with the large damn mechanical bear at the end.

The the Mummy ride was cool -- but damn short. Man, most of these rides were damn short. I was quiet most of the time since i just got over a bout of fatigue (imagine, walking for six days non stop, each for the whole day! o.O)

We also didn't get to catch the Studio Tour and a whole lot of great rides -- the park closed too soon. o.o

LAS VEGAS, NEVADA:
alright, another long trip. this time Pam wasn't with us, so i busied myself with writing down my ideas for HakuKuchi and realized that there was still a lot left to write. Kazu and Tako still yet to make those jealousy scenes -- you know, the one where Tako would do something really nice and lovey-dovey with Suzuki while Kazu's still there, watching, feeling the jealousy that had been buried a long time, deep in his heart, being brought back to life.... don't get it? okay.

This trip was another punishment to our feet. we walked along the strip, from the Aladdin up to Treasure Island, then to the Venetian and back. The Bellagio dancing fountain was sooo cool -- it was the show I liked best. Really, really cool. You should go see it.

PHOENIX, ARIZONA:
A long trip as well. whenever I'm alone (meaning cousin Pam is not with us) i passed the time by listening to my mp3 cd (and some other cd's) and writing down more ideas for HakuKuchi, and the newly materialized ideas for the sequel to the Sirius/Aurora thing I have written two years ago. :D Here I met with my Tito Mitch and Tita Annabelle, and my cousins Myles and Max. They're soooo cute! :D Actually, i was inspired to do my Sirius/Aurora thing because of Myles -- Tita Annabelle said that at the age of 4 he already had a girlfriend, and that the pattern was consistent -- blonde and sweet. at the age of six he even has a fanclub! O.O ang cute cute kasi. And Max, his younger brother, was damn cute too.

BORDERS (the other bookstore, but Kinokuniya's still a dream):
Here i found Hanazakari to Kimitachi he, called by americans by the name Hana-Kimi, fully translated, except they didn't change the names and the manner of reading it. What a dream. I read it on the way back to San Mateo, and I am in LOVE (whoo!) with Nanba Minami! o.o and that gay doctor, Umeda-sensei! whaaaaaaaaa...Sano Izumi's really handsome too. and Mizuki--chan is sooooooooo cute. i used my own money. o.o

I bought 1-5. i'll m y uncle to buy the next tankoubons, and complete my God Child, and Ribon. (shizumasa you IDIOT!! you are so damn dead! x.x)

back to SAN MATEO:

believe it or not, after just two weeks of being away from home, I really want to go home. Sanay kasi ako na nabubulok sa bahay at wlang ginagawa, kaya mahal na mahal ko bahay ko. dun sa San Mateo we were accompanied once again by my tito ed and pam. Helped us to do lots of things and last minute shopping -- i bought a truckload (not really) of See's candies for my friends. I also bought my LS-ASOUE DVD there (i think) (LIAM! *love love*) orig..O.o took out my own money for it... earlier this trip i bought my PRISMACOLOR MARKERS here (*love love*). and then...ano pa ba...met up with my cousins Andrew and Mark.... and then went home!!!! :D

Departure (San mateo to hongkong; hongkong to singapore; singapore to manila):

Nothing much. watched In Good Company, Mulan, Ima aitainiyukimasu, 50 first dates and Hide and Seek in the airplane.tska Killing Me by Laruku was on the in-flight audio broadcast. hirap nga lang tsempuhan. when we got out of the SIA airplane once we've landed in Manila, all i can say was 'shit, ang INIT!!!!' but i love my home. i really do. pagdating ko sa bahay plakda kagad! : D

Overall -- the trip was really nice. bukas ko na babanggitin lhat ng bagay na nangyari between me and teh love of my life (whoooooo!!!!!!! kung di nyo alam kung sino un, nandito un in teh blog somewhere! he's...around there...somewhere...:D). Well, actually wla maxado. uwaaaaaa...Gakucchan aitai! Manga analysis would be posted mamaya siguro, about my realizations with Hana-Kimi.
